This might look long and involved but really it’s easy to view or add to the website. I’ve given very detailed instructions here because I know many people are not very computer-literate and I want this website to be as accessible as possible to everyone.
Just scroll down to the section you’re interested in for instructions.
Note: When you add something to the site, it may sometimes require my approval before it shows up so if you don't see it straight away, don't worry.
If you only wish to view the web site and not add anything, it seems to work fine with all the common internet browsers.
If you wish to add/edit, I would recommend using Internet Explorer. This is because I found that Mozilla Firefox wouldn’t let me copy/paste whereas IE does.
When you try to copy/paste in IE, a window will come up saying “Do you want to allow this web page to access your clipboard?” You’ll have to select “Allow Access” to be able to copy/paste.

Gallery
This is where the photo albums are stored. You can see all photos or if you select the name of a photo album from the drop-down “Album” list at the top, you’ll see the contents of that album.
If you’d like to add a photo, scroll down and click on “Submit a photo”.
You do NOT need to sign in, register or give your email address if you don’t want to.
Type your name in the “Name” box and include a message if you like. List the file you wish to upload in the “Upload images” box and click on “Send pictures”.
Audio/Visual
Audio
This contains the music that was played at Dad’s Funeral.
To play, just click on the name of the song & it will play. When finished, click the “Back” button on your browser to return to the website.
Video
There’s not yet any video on the website.
There is currently no option to add Audio/Visual in this section so if you have something you’d like put up, scroll down and click on the “Click here to contact the creator of this website” on the left hand side of the page. Here you can send a message to me directly.
Candles
Here you can view the candles that people have lit along with their personal messages to Jack. If there is more than one page, just click on the page number to go to that page.
To light a candle, scroll down to “Light a candle”.
You do NOT need to sign in, register or give your email address if you don’t want to.
Just type your name in the “Name” box and your message to Jack in the “Message” box. Then click on “Send”
Condolences
Here you can view the condolence messages that people have left for us. If there is more than one page, just click on the page number to go to that page.
To write a message of condolence, scroll down to “Write a condolence”

Just type your name in the “Name” box, a title or subject in the “Title” box and your message to us in the “Message” box. Then click on “Send”
Memories
Here you can view the stories that people have left. If there is more than one page, just click on the page number to go to that page.
We’d love for you to leave stories here. There are bound to be many that we’ve not heard before and as for those we have heard, they’re sure to bring a smile to our faces. The idea of this website is to create a lasting memory of Jack.

Only include photos that are relevant to the memory/story that you’re sending. In the case of other photos, just add them to the “Gallery” page.

Here you can read about Jack’s life. At the moment it’s just the basics but will be added to over time.
