Truly sorry about the loss of your dad. I know that you were very close and you thought the world of him.
Grief is the most exhausting, heaviest feeling there is. We never realise how frail we are until we find ourselves carrying it. It will take time and you need to do exactly whatever you need to do in the moment. I think I laid in the fetal position and ate valium for a couple of days after my dad passed...because that is what I needed to do. Do whatever you need to do.
